With the approval of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Suhar Airport will receive two additional flights from Air Arabia (to Sharjah) starting Wednesday, bringing its total weekly flights to 20.

It may be noted that Air Arabia started operating from Suhar from July 9 this year. Suhar is Air Arabia’s third destination in Oman.

The carrier operates daily flights Muscat and Salalah. Air Arabia is the first international carrier to operate from Suhar. With this, Air Arabia will connect passengers from Suhar to over 50 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia and Europe — 22 countries from Sharjah, 11 destinations in eight countries from Ras al Khaimah, and six destinations in four countries from Alexandria.

From October 1, Qatar Airways added four additional weekly flights to make a daily service from Suhar.
